New OVO turntable with customizable egg-shaped plinth

Created by italian design company Audio Deva, the OVO truntable follows their first Kickstarter success launched in 2016, the Atmo Sfera platterless record player.

Distilled it into something more simple, more accessible and more colorful, the OVO is cureently crowdfunding on Kickstarter. According to the campaign it will retail at €899 but backers can now pledge to order one at the discounted price of €479.

The OVO turntable weighs 3kg and comes with a CNC machined 10mm Anticorodal aluminium plinth, a Delrin platter, Pro-Ject tonearm premounted with an Ortofon OM-5E cartridge, and Delrin anti-resonant feet. To focus on quality componets, it has no built-in features like a phono pre-amp, USB out or Bluetooth connectivity.

The egg-shaped base comes in 99 vibrant colored patterns or can be customized to include a design of your own.
